The service
LeaveSave provides charging planning tools and optional smart charging that can send commands to a vehicle account you connect. Features may change.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use LeaveSave. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms where required.
Your responsibilities
You must have the right to use the Google and vehicle accounts you connect; follow those providers’ terms; and use the service safely. Remote charge commands can affect vehicle range and availability. You are responsible for whether the vehicle is charged when you need it and for safe use of chargers and equipment.
No OEM affiliation
LeaveSave is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by vehicle manufacturers or third-party vehicle API brands. Do not assume any manufacturer warranty covers our planning or commands.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CHARGING WILL COMPLETE, THAT SCHEDULES WILL MATCH REAL-WORLD CONDITIONS, OR THAT CALENDAR OR VEHICLE DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR AVAILABLE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR FROM CHARGE COMMANDS (INCLUDING AUTOMATED ONES YOU ENABLED). OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. (MVP is free; expect (B) to apply.)
Acceptable use
No abuse of APIs, no attempts to access others’ households or vehicles, no reverse engineering except where allowed by law.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or end access for misuse or risk to the service or others.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
